masseria (large farm) with rural houses, where the massari (caretakers) live. The masserie, constructions that are frequently found along the countryside roads
of the province of Syracuse, are made of light coloured stones like the walls that border the various private properties and the dry walls that flank the small
countryside roads (there are real works of art). The masseria in question includes a second apartment situated on the side and another very small apartment
that is inhabited by the massaro (the family that cares for the property). 9 km the city of Ragusa, 7 km the sea (Marina di Ragusa, seaside tourist centre
with beach and all kinds of shops), 70 km Noto, 80 km Syracuse and Catania, cities rich with evidence of the populations that once dominated them, 150 km
Taorminaa. Extensive view as far as the sea. Very peaceful position. Access along a non-asphalt road of approx. 1 km.Parking.
First Floor: (access from a characteristic internal courtyard): living room with fireplace and access onto a panoramic, equipped terrace (100 m2) with a
few that reaches as far as the sea, dining room, kitchen, 1 single bedroom with access onto the terrace, 1 small double bedroom with 1 bathroom with shower, 1
double bedroom with balcony from which there is a view of the sea, 1 twin bedded room with view of the sea, 1 bathroom with shower (washing machine). Water not
drinkable. All of the rooms have ceiling fans. Terrace (70 m2). Possibility to purchase typical Sicilian farm products among which is the famous cacio cavallo,
a typical local cheese, and on request, to have exquisite typical local dishes prepared by the massara. Comfortable furniture.

Prices are quoted on a weekly basis in US Dollars and include all taxes and service charges. Extra fees
may apply for electricity, heating, etc. as described in the "Other Expenses" section above. Also, the
security deposit is payable to the keyholder at the time of arrival in local currency only.
Cancellation and Changes...
Cancellation penalties apply as follows:
90 days or more prior arrival: 30% of total
89-29 days prior arrival: 50% of total
28-16 days prior arrival: 90% of total
15-0 days prior arrival or "no shows": 100% of total
