The imposing Meleto Castle is located in the heart of the Chianti Classico, near the ancient lines that marked the border between the
Florentine and Senese Republic, in the centre of a large and well-known farm that extends for more than 1,000 ha. Despite the modifications that it has
experienced throughout the centuries, the Meleto Castle still preserves the traces of the massive 15th century fortifications with its powerful cylinder tower.
4 km Gaiole in Chianti (various shops), 11 km Radda in Chianti, 26 km Siena, 70 km Florence. Beautiful view overlooking the hills and the Chianti vineyards.
Peaceful position. Apartments 1/2/3/4/5/6/7 are located in the annexe next to the castle, while apartments 8/9/10/11 are located in an ancient farmhouse
refined by its Renaissance structure situated in front of the castle and the swimming pool (distant 250 m), set in a dominating position among the olive groves
and at the edge of the woods and with a charming equipped courtyard (100 m2). The apartments are original and pleasant and have been tastefully renovated with
great care while respecting its original style and materials. Each apartment has satellite TV. Shared: swimming pool (12x10, 1-2 m deep) and equipped sun
terrace. To be requested on booking and to be paid for on directly on the spot: air conditioning (only for MELETO ORAZIO, MELETO ELEONORA, MELETO VIGNANOVA,
MELETO TERRAZZE) , mobile telephone with phone card, extra bed (Euro 112/week, maximum one per apartment, not possible in MELETO 3), wine tasting, guided tour
of the castle with typical dinner (Thursday), guided trekking hikes (min. 10 people), mountain bike. Fax service available. You can purchase farm products.

Prices are quoted on a weekly basis in US Dollars and include all taxes and service charges. Extra fees
may apply for electricity, heating, etc. as described in the "Other Expenses" section above. Also, the
security deposit is payable to the keyholder at the time of arrival in local currency only.
Cancellation and Changes...
Cancellation penalties apply as follows:
90 days or more prior arrival: 30% of total
89-29 days prior arrival: 50% of total
28-16 days prior arrival: 90% of total
15-0 days prior arrival or "no shows": 100% of total
