Halfway up a slope on a pretty hill there is a recently restored farmhouse and a delightful outbuilding from which 6 characteristic holiday
apartments have been created. It is situated in a relaxing and tranquil position with a beautiful view over the valley and the Tuscan hills. The owners, a very
kind and welcoming couple that live in a farmhouse about 900 m away (in the grounds of VISTABELLA), won.t miss the opportunity to offer you on your arrival a
glass of vinsanto of excellent quality. Only 500 m away is the small town of Acone (supermarket, grocers-pizzeria and bar in the summer), 7 km away is Rufina
(3,5 km of which are interior roads) with shops of all types. In the town of Rufina you will find a small train station where it is possible to comfortably
travel to the center of Florence (in circa 30 mins.) avoiding the city traffic. The apartments are about 30 km north east from Florence, 20 km from the zone of
Mugello, noted for the characteristic greenery and for the numerous enchanting villages like Scarperia (famous for the production of valuable knives), Borgo
S. Lorenze, Vicchio, etc.. Shared with the guests of VISTABELLA, is a very lovely and original oval shaped swimming pool (28x14) surrounded by a lovely
furnished solarium. Every apartment has its own external furnished area. The owner will organize a party celebrating the threshing of wheat, .Festa della
battitura del grano., in the last week of July, using age-old machinery and tractors. The owner has a horse riding school with 16 horses and instructors and
on request will organise a 2-day horse-riding trekking with booking in nearby farmholiday homes. The owner can also organise tours of cellars with tastings in
the Chianti Rufina as well as horse-riding excursions and horse-riding lessons in the property (approx. 120 ha) and cooking lessons. Possibility to organise
lunches and dinners (also on the day of arrival) with the typical products from the farm in the 13th century cellar.Parking. Comfortable furniture. Central

Prices...
Prices are quoted on a weekly basis in US Dollars and include all taxes and service charges. Extra fees
may apply for electricity, heating, etc. as described in the "Other Expenses" section above. Also, the
security deposit is payable to the keyholder at the time of arrival in local currency only.
Cancellation and Changes...
Cancellation penalties apply as follows:
90 days or more prior arrival: 30% of total
89-29 days prior arrival: 50% of total
28-16 days prior arrival: 90% of total
15-0 days prior arrival or "no shows": 100% of total
